Table Lamp GIOVA Large by Gae Aulenti for FontanaArte

A gorgeous piece of lighting that is also sculptural, table lamp GIOVA Large was created by Gae Aulenti for FontanaArte. Part vase, part lamp, Giova marked Gae Aulenti's debut in lighting design.

Available in two sizes, this lamp is both a lamp and a luminous sculpture. The light source is housed within a transparent glass bowl that rests on a metal base. On top of the bowl is a smaller bowl in blown pulegoso glass (meaning "with irregular bubbles") that serves as a vase.

Diffused, non-dimmable light. Chrome-plated base. Globe made from transparent blown glass. Top half-sphere made of transparent and coloured blown glass with decorative bubbles. Black power cable, switch, and plug. European two-pin plug. Lightbulb not included.
